Dedicated to achieving confident behaviour, this course provides step-by-step instruction on hijack prevention & increased awareness.

Objectives:
1. To improve awareness, enabling you to pre-empt a possible attack & avoid it.
2. How to get yourself/children/passengers safely out of the vehicle in the event of a hijacking.
Theory – Popular locations& current modus operandi:
• Driving in/out of driveway : automatic & non-automatic gates
• Housebreaking & Dog poisoning
• While stationary at traffic light/stop sign
• Smash & Grab attacks
• While stationary alongside the road
• Filling stations
• While stationary in a parking area e.g. Shopping Mall – Remote jamming
• Relay attacks (keyless entry) – How to prevent
• Armed robbery at Shopping Mall
• Blue Light Hijacking : Bogus Police/Traffic Officers
• Spikes on the road/Objects on freeway
• Travel on the freeway & “Freeway fishing”
• Cash-in-Transit robbery : How to react
• Kidnapping in SA
• How to identify if you are being followed & how to react
Practical:
How to react during an attack, shoul you fall victim to the crime
